I started Silverback1059 because I wanted a way to talk to middle-aged men about how to optimize the way they look, feel, and perform.  I choose Silverback because the silver-back gorilla is one of the few animals that is respected for its grey hair as a sign of maturity and strength and not a sign of old age and fragility.  1059 comes from my birthday October 1959.   My tagline "It takes what it takes" comes from the raw realities of life.  I want to help men optimize their lives, not by giving them BS generalities, but by telling them exactly what it takes to get where they want to be.  Once you know what it truly takes to get what you want then you can decide if you are willing to do what it takes or not!
